HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with teachers in recognition of their achievements in educational competitions organised by the UAE
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with several teachers in recognition of their achievements in educational competitions organised by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the efforts of Bahrain’s national workforce, emphasising the vital role that citizens play in advancing the Kingdom’s achievements, including in education. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed that the forward-looking vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa continues to guide the government’s plans and programmes dedicated to the development of the education sector.
His Royal Highness underscored the excellence and unwavering dedication of Bahraini teachers, noting that their efforts play a pivotal role in strengthening the Kingdom’s education sector and its global competitiveness.
His Royal Highness reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to investing in its national workforce by expanding educational opportunities that drive the Kingdom’s ongoing development.
His Royal Highness also conveyed his congratulations to the teachers on their achievements and on the conclusion of the 2024–2025 academic year, and commended the students’ achievements, which reflect the dedication of the teaching and administrative staff in supporting their success.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the efforts of Bahraini teachers in advancing education, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to building an educational environment that promotes excellence. In this regard, His Royal Highness welcomed the contributions of the Ministry of Education’s personnel to the Kingdom’s development.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad underlined the importance of keeping pace with global educational advancements through the adoption of innovative solutions that strengthen the capabilities of Bahraini teachers and elevate the educational system.
In addition, His Royal Highness commended the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, as reflected in the mutual participation of Bahrainis and Emiratis in competitions held in both countries.
Teacher Isa Hussain Ali Mohammed was awarded the 2025 Khalifa Creative Arab Teacher award, while Shaikha Nabeel Hamad Al Hamad received the 2024 Khalifa Creative Arab Teacher award. In addition, Maram Abdul Majeed Al Qasimi was honoured with the Individual Excellence Medal in the category of cultural, artistic, and media excellence, as part of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Programme for Excellence and Community Intelligence.
For their part, the teachers expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’s unwavering support of the Kingdom’s educational sector, noting that it contributes to their continued excellence and achievements.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
