HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Her Excellency Riham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of the longstanding Bahrain–Egypt relations, which continues to grow through deepening multisectoral cooperation and a shared commitment to achieve mutual aspirations. These close ties are further strengthened by the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of expanding avenues of cooperation to enhance Bahrain–Egypt relations.

During the meeting, both sides discussed recent regional and international developments, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

For her part, Her Excellency Riham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil expressed her appreciation for His Royal Highness’s dedication to advancing Bahrain–Egypt relations, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
