HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with a congressional delegation from the USA

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with a congressional delegation from the United States of America (USA), led by Representative Bradley Schneider, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, which is built on mutually beneficial cooperation and longstanding agreements and close collaboration, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).

His Royal Highness underscored the importance of further strengthening this advanced partnership.

During the meeting, issues of common interest, including the latest regional and international developments and their implications on security and stability, were discussed. His Royal Highness reaffirmed the Kingdom’s position of resolving crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, including the continuation of US-Iran nuclear negotiations, and stressed the urgent need to end regional conflicts in the interest of all peoples of the region.

His Royal Highness also highlighted the vital role of the United States, alongside allied nations, in safeguarding global peace and security.

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.
