HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Vatican Secretary of State
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State.
The meeting took place as part of His Royal Highness’ official visit to the Vatican City State and the Italian Republic.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to upholding the values of tolerance, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue, principles championed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Vatican City State, advancing shared aspirations, furthering the values of coexistence and promoting global peace and stability.
His Royal Highness also outlined that the Kingdom of Bahrain, with its rich cultural heritage and strong international ties, has built bridges of communication and cooperation that have fostered development and growth across multiple key sectors, and will continue to pursue these efforts.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
