HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (59) of 2025

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (59) of 2025 amending certain provisions of Edict (11) of 2023 on the reformation of the National Committee for the Elderly, following the submission of the Minister of Social Development.

Article I
Clause (3) of Paragraph I of Article I of Edict (11) of 2023 on the reformation of the National Committee for the Elderly shall be replaced with the following provision:
“3. A member of the Supreme Council for Women, representing the Council.”

Paragraph II of Article I of the same edict shall also be replaced with the following provision:
“The entities stipulated in Clauses (3), (5), and (6) of the previous paragraph shall designate their representatives to the Committee.”

Article II
The relevant authorities, each in their respective capacity, shall implement this edict, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
