HM King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on McLaren’s victory in the 2025 Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship for the second consecutive year, marking the team’s tenth overall title.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also extended congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the SCYS.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad said the achievement reflects the team’s high level of performance and professionalism and reiterates the Kingdom of Bahrain’s role in supporting global motorsport, guided by the vision and continued support of Bahrain’s leadership. His Highness commended the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to the achievement and further advanced Bahrain’s position on the global Formula 1 stage.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad commended the efforts of the McLaren team throughout the season, which culminated in this achievement, wishing them continued success in future competitions.
