HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister attends the Royal Bahrain Concours
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the Royal Bahrain Concours, held at the Royal Golf Club.
The Royal Bahrain Concours is the first event of its kind in the region and showcases 90 of the world’s most exceptional collector cars, alongside 300 other automobiles from GCC-based car clubs.
His Royal Highness outlined the Kingdom’s ongoing success in hosting major global and regional events, reflecting the strength of its tourism sector and its role in supporting Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the tourism sector represents a cornerstone of the national economy and a key driver of sustainable growth, noting that Bahrain’s unique strengths and attractive environment continue to generate wide-ranging opportunities for future development.
His Royal Highness reiterated that Bahrain’s ability to host world-class events is testament to its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the dedication of its highly qualified national workforce, whose efforts continue to uphold the Kingdom’s commitment to excellence and international standards.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that Bahrain’s ability to balance authenticity with modernity is reflected in events such as the Royal Bahrain Concours, which supports national efforts toward sustainable development through prominent cultural and sporting fixtures.
His Royal Highness went on to further highlight Bahrain’s distinguished standing in the world of motorsport, reflecting that the Kingdom’s long-standing success in hosting the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix since 2004 at the Bahrain International Circuit, has cemented its position as a leading hub for international motorsport events.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that the diversity of events hosted by the Kingdom, from global races, sporting moments, to classic car showcases, enhances Bahrain’s competitiveness across the tourism and sports sectors and further strengthens the Kingdom’s development.
His Royal Highness commended the efforts of Team Bahrain, noting that the Kingdom’s achievements reflect their determination and dedication.
His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation to all those involved in organising the Royal Bahrain Concours and wished them continued success.
The Royal Bahrain Concours is the GCC’s premier concours and car show, an exclusive gathering “where the Gulf and the world’s most exclusive cars meet”. The event showcases rare classics, vintage, and modern automobiles, uniting car collectors, enthusiasts, and international brands in a unique cultural celebration.
Several senior officials were also in attendance.
