HM King congratulated by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on handball team’s Asian title

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain national handball team winning first place in the Asian Handball Championship, hosted by the State of Kuwait.

His Royal Highness congratulated His Majesty the King on the achievement, attributing the victory to His Majesty’s continued support for Bahraini sport, which has contributed to the advancement of national teams and their success at regional and international competitions.

His Royal Highness noted that the title represents a source of pride and an important sporting achievement, reflecting the advanced level reached by Bahraini sport and the dedication of national athletes, whose performance led to winning the championship for the first time.
