HRH the Deputy King meets with the Commander of the US Central Command
The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), at Riffa Palace.
HRH the Deputy King affirmed that the historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States continue to advance, underpinned by strong foundations of cooperation and bilateral coordination, and supported by partnerships and agreements, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
HRH the Deputy King emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen joint cooperation and coordination across all levels, particularly within the military and defence sectors.
His Royal Highness highlighted the prominent role played by the United States, alongside allied countries, in consolidating regional and global security, stability, and development.
The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest, were also discussed in the meeting.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, also attended the meeting.
