HRH the Deputy King meets with members of the 29th session’s Advisory Body of the GCC Supreme Council

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with members of the 29th session’s Advisory Body of the GCC Supreme Council, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness affirmed Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to supporting joint GCC efforts that contribute to progress of all members.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC countries and wished the members of the Advisory Body of the GCC Supreme Council continued success in achieving their shared aspirations in light of the unity and common future of the GCC countries.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of building on the national progress witnessed across the GCC, and of enhancing cooperation in line with the visions and aspirations of the leaders of member states.

HRH the Deputy King affirmed the GCC’s distinguished standing and the effective role it plays in consolidating its regional and international presence, noting its achievements that serve the aspirations of the peoples of the GCC.

His Royal Highness went on to commend the role played by the Advisory Body of the GCC Supreme Council, and its contributions to enhancing cooperation among GCC countries.

For their part, the members of the Advisory Body expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ efforts in supporting joint GCC efforts, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and several senior officials also attended the meeting.

The members of the Advisory Body are meeting for the first time during the 29th session, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, within the framework of Bahrain’s chairmanship of the 46th GCC Summit.
