HRH The Deputy King hosts a Ramadan iftar banquet for BDF senior officers
The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet for senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and His Highness Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, were also in attendance.
His Royal Highness was also welcomed by HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff; and other senior BDF officers.
His Royal Highness expressed pride in the BDF personnel’s unwavering determination and loyalty in fulfilling their national duty, serving the Kingdom and safeguarding its achievements.
His Royal Highness commended their honourable sacrifices and contributions in advancing the Kingdom’s progress.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted that the BDF’s advanced level of combat readiness has been achieved under the guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
On the occasion of the holy Month of Ramadan, His Royal Highness exchanged best wishes with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and senior officers, wishing the Kingdom, Arab and Islamic nations, continued security, progress, and prosperity.
In turn, the BDF Commander-in-Chief extended his wishes for the Kingdom and its people to continue enjoying security, stability, and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
For his part, and on behalf of BDF personnel, the BDF Commander-in-Chief expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ commitment and unwavering support to the BDF and its personnel.
