HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister visits the Salmaniya Medical Complex
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited the Salmaniya Medical Complex to meet those injured by the hostile Iranian attacks.
His Royal Highness highlighted the readiness of the Kingdom’s healthcare workforce, stressing that the delivery of medical services is at operational capacity and is in line with the highest standards, thanks to the unwavering support of His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met with several of the victims, extending his sincere wishes for their swift recovery and continued health.
His Royal Highness underscored that safeguarding the health and well-being of citizens and residents remains a top priority.
His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude to the medical, nursing and administrative staff at Salmaniya Medical Complex, commending their professionalism and tireless dedication in delivering the highest standards of care.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister went on to recognise the advanced readiness of the Ministry of Health, noting the effectiveness of its emergency response plans and the seamless coordination amongst its teams, which reflects the health sector’s ability to respond promptly and efficiently when needed.
His Royal Highness affirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing the health sector’s capabilities, ensuring the quality, sustainability, and uninterrupted provision of medical services to citizens and residents.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continued coordination among all relevant entities to maintain the highest levels of readiness and operational efficiency.
For her part, HE Dr Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, expressed her gratitude to His Royal Highness for the visit, which reflects His Royal Highness’s unwavering commitment and steadfast support of the health sector.
HE Dr Jalila emphasised the Ministry’s commitment to the implementation of its approved plans to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of health care services under all circumstances.
HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and HE Dr Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, were also in attendance.
