HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulates Muharraq Club on winning HM the King’s Cup

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today extended his congratulations to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Muharraq Sports Club, along with its affiliates and fans, on the club’s victory in HM the King’s Football Cup, following their win over Riffa Sports Club in the final held this evening.

His Royal Highness commended Muharraq Sports Club’s distinguished performance throughout the match and across the tournament, noting that this achievement reflects the collective efforts of the administrative and technical staff, as well as the players, which enabled the team to secure the title.

His Royal Highness also highlighted the strong performance demonstrated by Riffa Sports Club, wishing them success in upcoming competitions and continued achievement.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the outstanding sportsmanship demonstrated by both teams, as well as the high morale, skill, and potential displayed by the players throughout the match. In this regard, His Royal Highness emphasised that this reflects the notable development of Bahraini football and its achievements across various sporting competitions.

His Royal Highness also commended the strong presence of supporters of the two long-established clubs, noting the positive impact this had in motivating the players to perform at their best.

His Royal Highness expressed his sincere wishes for the continued success and progress of the Kingdom’s national sports clubs, affirming his confidence that they will sustain their trajectory of development and advancement, thereby contributing to elevating the Kingdom’s standing across regional and international sporting events and championships.
