HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness affirmed the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to strengthen the historic relationship between both Kingdoms.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that Bahrain-Saudi ties are based on a rich history of shared aspirations for further prosperity and growth for both Kingdoms and their peoples, stressing that Saudi Arabia represents a strategic depth for the Gulf region.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted that the strong positions and initiatives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, reflect the depth of the relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s ambitious vision and commitment to strengthening relations between the two Kingdoms, noting His Royal Highness’ commitment to developing bilateral cooperation towards further growth and development.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of consolidating the distinguished strategic partnership between the two countries and creating new opportunities to further cooperation, to achieve prosperity for the two countries and their peoples.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted Bahrain’s commitment to deepen cooperation, partnership and improving coordination at all levels with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to achieve further progress and development.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments, as well as the positive outcomes of the Extraordinary Consultative Gulf Summit of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Jeddah, were discussed, as well as its contribution to strengthening GCC integration and coordination, which supports the interests of the GCC member states and enhances their security and stability.
For his part, HE Al-Sudairi expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment and interest in developing Bahrain-Saudi relations towards advanced levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
