HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received His Excellency Andrea Catalano, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted that the longstanding relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Italy continue to advance across various fields and areas of mutual interest.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation, and to extending bilateral partnerships across a range of sectors that contributes towards achieving the ambitions of both countries and their peoples.

During the meeting, discussions also focused on regional developments and their implications for regional and international security and stability, in addition to issues of mutual interest.

For his part, HE the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment to enhancing Bahrain-Italy relations in support of shared aspirations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.

His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
