HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa awards the Muharraq Club the 50th Crown Prince Volleyball Cup
On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today attended the final of the 50th Crown Prince Volleyball Cup. The match was between the Muharraq Club and the the Dar Kulaib Club and took place at the Isa bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, located at Isa Sports City in Isa Town.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman presented the Cup to the Muharraq Club following their win over the Dar Kulaib Club, by 3 sets to 1. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman also awarded medals to members of the winning team and the runners-up.
His Highness affirmed that the continued achievements of Bahrain’s athletes are the result of the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to further support athletes, contributing to the Kingdom’s growing sporting prowess.
His Highness noted that the 50-year legacy of the Crown Prince Volleyball Cup reflects the history and popularity of the sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the milestones achieved over the decades.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman commended the exceptional performance of all participating clubs, emphasising that the quality of the competition represents the prowess of athletes across the Kingdom.
His Highness also highlighted the excellent organisational efforts of the Bahrain Volleyball Association, wishing all participants and organisers continued success.
