HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (21) of 2026

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (21) of 2026 amending Article (II) of Edict (61) of 2009 establishing and forming the Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow, based on a proposal by the Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow.

Article (I)

Article (II) of Edict (61) of 2009 establishing and forming the Supreme Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow is replaced with the following text:

“The Supreme Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Airshowshall be chaired by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, and shall comprise the following members:

1- Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications as Vice-Chairman

2- Commander of the Royal Bahraini Air Force as a member

3- Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications as a member

4- Director-General of the Bahrain International Airshow as a member

5- Two members with expertise nominated by the Chairman of the Committee”

Article (II)

The edict shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
