HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister meets with the Commander Land Forces of the UK
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today met with Lieutenant General Zac Stenning CB OBE, Commander Land Forces of the United Kingdom, and an accompanying delegation, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom across various fields, particularly in the military and defence sectors.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised that Bahrain-UK relations are underpinned by shared partnerships and agreements, including the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA), which contribute to advancing shared goals and aspirations.
His Royal Highness welcomed Lieutenant General Stenning and the accompanying delegation, highlighting the joint national commitment to deepening coordination and advancing this strategic partnership at various levels, in support of the prosperity and growth of both nations.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest, were discussed.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials were in attendance.
