HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness affirmed that Kingdom’s interest remains a main priority, and forms Team Bahrain’s efforts in furthering its comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, and its pivotal role in serving the Kingdom and its citizens.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the role of members of the Legislative Authority to achieve citizen’s aspirations by developing the legislative system and supporting national workstreams. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom’s commitment to implementing development plans, programmes, and government services in cooperation with the Legislative Authority to benefit all.

His Royal Highness outlined that the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements continue to be attained through Team Bahrain’s ongoing support and determination.

His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s support to Team Bahrain’s efforts to further wide-ranging national achievements, including security and stability, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to prosper under the leadership of HM the King and the unity of its citizens.

For their part, HE the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and HE the Speaker of the Shura Council expressed their gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his commitment to supporting cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities to achieve the Kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations.

The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
