HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, who were accompanied by their respective deputies and members of the Services Committee, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised that cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches aims to serve Bahrain’s citizens, in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, reaffirming the commitment to delivering the highest quality services.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that the efforts of Team Bahrain are a source of inspiration to continue achieving further accomplishments and successes that benefit the Kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches in a manner that creates opportunities for Bahrain’s citizens and the vital role of the private sector in supporting these efforts.
His Royal Highness also affirmed that Bahrain’s hosting of the 46th session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, under the chairmanship of His Majesty the King, will contribute to the development of participating countries and enhance cooperation across various fields, reflecting the visions and aspirations of the GCC leaders.
For their part, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’ commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches, to the benefit of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its citizens.
HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
