HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, along with their deputies, members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and National Security from both councils, several members of both councils, and HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness affirmed that cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches, in partnership with the private sector, serves as the cornerstone of the Kingdom’s initiatives. This engagement continues to drive progress across all sectors and supports the comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to further strengthening the partnership between the Executive and Legislative branches and the private sector, to drive forward the Kingdom’s development and enhance the well-being of Bahraini citizens.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the vital role of the private sector in supporting the Kingdom’s development goals and in creating opportunities for Bahraini citizens, leading to the increased competitiveness of the national economy and delivering sustainable growth.
His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of supporting national efforts to further cement Bahrain’s position as a distinguished regional and international destination for major events, conferences, and championships, reflecting the Kingdom’s capabilities, infrastructure, and the extensive promising investment opportunities across diverse sectors.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed pride in the members of Team Bahrain and appreciation for their dedication, creativity, and contribution to the Kingdom’s continued progress.
For their part, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, the Chairman of the Shura Council, and the Chairman of the BCCI, expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ unwavering support in advancing cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches and the private sector, in service of the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
