HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (23) of 2023

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (23) of 2023, on restructuring the National Anti-Drug Committee, based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The committee shall be chaired by the Minister of Interior, and comprise the following members:

1- The Minister of Social Development

2- The Minister of Health

3- The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments

4- The Minister of Information Affairs

5- The Minister of Education

6- The Minister of Youth Affairs

7- The Chief of Public Security

8- The President of Customs

9- The Director-General of the General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior (who will be the Rapporteur of the Committee).

The Minister of Interior shall implement the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon its issuance, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
