HRH Crown Prince Receives Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and FM

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, received here today at Al Riffa Palace Kuwaiti Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Dr. Shaikh Mohammed Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah.  During the meeting, they reviewed solid historical relations bonding both countries, stressing their resolve to strengthen bilateral ties further.

HRH Prince Salman inquired about the results of the Bahrain-Kuwaiti Joint Committee’s meetings, lauding their positive outcome for the sake of both countries. He called for a unified economic concept to reach the desired GCC complementarity.”Bahrain has adopted a pro-active policy, engaging the private sector as an important strategic partner in our development projects”, he said.

He underscored the necessity to reach out to other global entities, particularly those blocs which represent key pillars of the world economy, urging an aggressive policy to be drawn up to attract investments from these fast-growing economies. Dr.Shaikh Mohammed lauded Bahrain’s remarkable development strides, hailing HRH Prince Salman’s pivotal role in running the economy and wooing value-adding global investments to Bahrain to energise the national economy.

He also reiterated his country’s resolve to always coordinate with Bahrain, hailing historic relations bonding both countries over generations. The meeting also spotlighted the current regional situation and developments in the political arena, urging stability to be achieved in this vital region. HRH Prince Salman hosted a lunch banquet in honor of Dr. Shaikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al Sabah.
