HRH Crown Prince Receives STC Chairman

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and the Economic Development Board Chairman today appreciated and welcomed Saudi Arabia’s role in developing the kingdom’s communication sector, which will make it a major tributary for the two brotherly countries’ economies.

This came as HRH Crown Prince received today at Riffa Palace, in the presence of the Cabinet Affairs Minister in Charge of the Communication Sector Shaikh Ahmed bin Atiyyatullah Al Khalifa, the  Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and Board Chairman of the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) Dr.Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser who is currently visiting the kingdom on the occasion of the inauguration the Communication Company, VIVA.

The distinctive Bahraini-Saudi relations have always been strong thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian  of  the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s keenness to upgrade bilateral ties, HRH Crown Prince said. HRH Prince Salman also hailed the kingdom’s developed communication sector which has become a real tributary for the the national economy, calling for more coordination and cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in this regard.

During the meeting, STC Chairman updated HRH Crown Prince on STC’s future plans, asserting that his company’s success in Bahrain couldn’t have been possible without HRH Prince Salman’s incessant support. He also called for more Saudi-Bahraini cooperation in the communication field. Present was Head of the Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa.
