HRH Crown Prince patronizes opening of Book Fair

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, commended today the cultural development in Bahrain in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He praised the efforts of Isa Cultural Centre in this regard as well as the key role played by President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of Isa Cultural Centre Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa.HRH the Crown Prince thanked, as he patronized today the opening of a Bahraini book fair, Bahraini authors for their genuine national efforts urging them for more creativity and persistence.

He also got informed about various publications showcased in the fair, which he opened in the presence of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corp, intellectuals and writers.Shaikh Abdullah lauded in his speech the role of the ruling family in promoting the kingdom’s cultural movement and its regional role in this respect.

His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Cultural and Scientific Affairs and Deputy Chairman of Isa Cultural Centre Board of Trustees Dr.Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari praised in a speech he gave openness and cultural freedom fostered by the royal reform project and the National Action Charter.He also lauded the role of HRH the Crown Prince in supporting this trend.
