HRH Prince Salman Hosts Ramadan Iftar Banquet
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today lauded the efforts of BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa and the BDF staff for bravely defending national achievements and participating actively in the march of reform and development under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman paid the tribute as he hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet at the BDF Officers’ Club. Royal Guard Commander Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and HRH Crown Prince’s son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa attended. HRH Prince Salman was welcomed on arrival, along with his son Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, by Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al-Khalifa and other senior BDF officers.
HRH Prince Salman expressed thanks and appreciation to all BDF personnel and exchanged with them congratulations on the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan. He voiced his confidence in Bahrain people to continue the march of development and construction under the banner of the wise leadership, lauding citizens’ capabilities and established credentials to achieve national goals competently. He prayed Allah Almighty to bless the Kingdom of Bahrain with further progress and prosperity, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, The Supreme Commander, and the Government of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa. He also wished further development and progress for the whole Arab and Islamic nations.
