HRH Crown Prince Praises Women’s Contributions

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, today took pride in the landmark contributions made by the Bahraini women in all fields, praising their keenness to take part effectively in the nation-building march. HRH Crown Prince paid special tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for her constant support for all initiatives aiming to upgrade Bahraini women’s position and empower them, adding that the SCW, launched in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, has made remarkable efforts in order to promote the role of women in the kingdom as a citizen and an equal partner.

 HRH Crown Prince made the comments as he received today , at Al Riffa Palace, the of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) Chairwoman Mona Al Moayyad and other members. During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince thanked BBS chairwoman and members for empowering women in the economic and trade fields, calling upon them to exert more efforts in order to bring about more achievements for the Bahraini women who, he said, deserve to be equal partners in all fields owing to their competencies and skills. HRH Crown Prince also stressed the need to maintain and enhance the kingdom’s distinguished success story  through promoting the values of modern civil state and joining ranks in order to safeguard the cherished nation and overcome the repercussions of the recent crisis that gripped the country.

BBS Chairwoman and members expressed delight at the valuable stances voiced by HRH Crown Prince during the meeting, lauding his remarkable contributions in all fiels, especially the economic one. They also hailed HRH Princess Sabeeka’s keenness to support Bahraini women.
