Kuwaiti Amir receives HRH Crown Prince

Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah received at Bayan Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, who is visiting Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti Amir welcomed him stressing solid ties bonding both countries and peoples. He praised steps taken by Bahrain to hold a national dialogue involving all social spectra in order to reach a consensus on appropriate solutions. He lauded HRH the Crown Prince’s capability to administer the dialogue adding that Bahrain’s security and stability are Kuwait’s too due to the distinguished place Bahrain occupies at the bilateral and GCC levels.

HRH Prince Salman conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his best wishes to Kuwait of further progress and prosperity. He commended historical bilateral relations and Kuwait’s honourable stances towards Bahrain. He paid tribute to the Kuwaiti people for their contribution to the development march of their country and loyalty to their leadership wishing them more progress and prosperity.”Bahrain is going ahead with its reform and modernization projects initiated since launching the National Action Charter which was meant by HM the King to be a real turning point in the history of modern Bahrain and a launch pad towards democratization of institutions,” he said hailing citizens’ awareness and active engagement through constitutional establishments  in the national work and decision-making.

“The national dialogue we are calling for now is an assertion of our political path aimed at sharing views to bring about the best accomplishments,” HRH the Crown Prince added.HRH Prince Salman earlier arrived in Kuwait and was received at Kuwait International Airport by his Kuwaiti counterpart Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Acting National Assembly Speaker Abdullah Al Roumi, National Guard Deputy Commander Shaikh Mesha’al Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Prime Minister Shaikh Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, First Deputy Premier, ministers and senior officials.
