HRH Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the EDB issues Edict 1/2021

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), today issued Edict 1/2021 on the re-structuring of the EDB.

Chaired by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the EDB shall comprise the following members:

1- His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa

2- His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa

3- His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa

4- Dr. Hassan bin Abdulla Fakhro, Deputy Chairman

5- Minister of Finance and National Economy

6- Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain

7- Minister of Labour and Social Development

8- Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications

9 – Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism

10- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund

11- CEO of the Economic Development Board

12 – Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

13- Mr. Farouk Yousef Al-Moayyad

14- Mr. Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo

15- Mr. Samer Majid Al-Jishi.

16- Mr. Yousef Abdulla Ali Redha.

17- Mr. Tariq Jalil Al Saffar.

18- Mr. Khalid Amr Al-Romaihi.

19- Mr. Khalid Ali Rashid Al-Amin.

20- Mrs. Najla Mohammed Al-Shirawi

21- Mrs. Rasha Mohammed Sabkar

22- Mrs. Fatima Isa Ibrahim

23- Mr. Ali Mousa Shafei

The members shall serve for a three-year term, effective from the date of the issuance of this edict.

The edict will take immediate effect and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
