HRH the Crown Prince issues Edict No. (19) of 2020 amending Article 1 of Resolution No. (12) of 2010 defining the Kingdom’s industrial areas: 25 October 2020

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister, today issued Edict No. (19) of 2020 amending Article 1 of Edict (12) of 2010 demarcating the Kingdom’s industrial areas. The Edict states the following: 

Article 1

Article (1) of Edict (12) of 2010 demarcating the industrial areas shall be amended as follows:

“Industrial areas” are considered pursuant to the provisions of Decree-Law No. (28) of 1999 stipulating the establishment and organisation of industrial areas, which were set up or demarcated under the provisions of previous laws and edicts are:

1- Salman Industrial City.

2- Al-Mazara’a Industrial Park.

3- Sitra Industrial Park.

4- Ma’ameer Industrial Park.

5- Mina Salman Industrial Park.

6- Hafeera Industrial Park.

7- Al-Lhaasay Industrial Park.

Article 2

This edict and the attached plan shall be published in the Official Gazette, and the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism and those concerned, each in his own jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions stipulated of this Edict, which shall take effect on the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
