HRH the Crown Prince hosts Iftar banquet for MOI senior officers

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening held an iftar banquet for senior officers and officials from the Ministry of Interior (MOI) at the Public Security Officers’ Club. 

Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince was received by the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. 

HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the vital role that MOI officers continue to play in protecting Bahrain’s security and upholding the rule of law, under the leadership of HM King Hamad. 

HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the wide-ranging initiatives and programmes implemented by the MOI that strengthen community partnerships and preserve the Kingdom’s national identity. 

HRH the Crown Prince extended his best wishes to the Minister of Interior and senior MOI officers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadhan.

HRH praised the Minister of Interior’s efforts in safeguarding the Kingdom’s achievements, expressing gratitude to all MOI personnel on their dedicated service to Bahrain.

HRH the Crown Prince went on to commemorate the Kingdom’s fallen servicemen, emphasising that their selfless sacrifices will always be honoured with great pride.

On behalf of the MOI, HE the Minister of Interior expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s support to the Kingdom’s security, and for recognising the MOI’s honourable role in protecting the Kingdom and its citizens, which extends to 100 years of dedication and efficiency in performing their noble duties. 

HE the Minister of Interior wished the Kingdom further progress, under the leadership of HM the King, and reiterated the MOI’s commitment and readiness to loyally serve the nation and its people.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the Iftar banquet.
