Deputy King CP meets U.S. Ambassador & Commander U.S Naval Forces Central Command, Commander U.S. 5th Fleet

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, today met with the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Justin Siberell, and the US Fifth Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral John Aquilino, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, the Deputy King highlighted the long-standing ties between Bahrain and the US, which are based on trust, mutual respect, and shared principles and values

The Deputy King, Ambassador Siberell and Vice Admiral Aquilino discussed regional and international issues, highlighting that strengthening collaboration is crucial to effectively countering extremism and terrorism across the region

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Ambassador Siberell and Vice Admiral Aquilino also discussed Bahrain’s role in providing strategic support to the US and boosting international counter-terrorism efforts. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince recognised the role of the US Fifth Fleet in strengthening regional security.
