In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Your Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister
Your Highnesses, Excellencies, distinguished guests,
Your Royal Highness, we have been honoured with Your visit to the Royal Guard on such blessed National Days as are prevalent in our beloved Kingdom. We have also been honoured today with Your honouring of Your sons “Duty Force/8” who recently returned from the frontlines and battlegrounds from Yemen in support of our monotheist religion, defending its Arabism, supporting its people and legitimate government against the forces of evil and darkness.
Sir, we also in the BDF take pride and honour to implement the wise directives and vision of His Majesty the King The Supreme Commander in supporting our ally the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on its southern borders.
Sir, in implementation of the orders of His Majesty the Supreme Commander, the Duty Force has been boosted to include the participation of all military sectors and units of the BDF in turn. These unprecedented wise orders came from our Supreme Commander to boost the concept of building combat and training capabilities of the BDF servicemen in duty zones on the combat frontlines.
Your Royal Highness the Deputy Supreme Commander, your support and assistance to your sons in the BDF in all duties and tasks has the greatest effect in attaining such distinctive military standards.
Finally, I supplicate to Allah Almighty to preserve our Supreme Commander His Majesty the King as a supporter of the Arab and Islamic nation in lasting health and wellness and to preserve our beloved Kingdom from all mischief.
And Peace, Allah’s mercy and blessings upon you.
Following the address, His Royal Highness presented medals awarded by His Majesty the King to members of the Royal Guards Special Operations Force (Taskforce 8) in recognition of their dedicated service during postings in Yemen.
