HRH Crown Prince Visits BDF Headquarters

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Kkhalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today visited the headquarters of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) in Riffa.

During the visit, His Royal Highness emphasised the significant role of the BDF’s personnel in supporting the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to restore security and stability in Yemen. His Royal Highness further added that both Operations Renewal of Hope and Decisive Storm, led by coalition forces, demonstrate the strength of the BDF’s military skills, including effective cooperation and cooperation with regional allies to protect Yemen’s long term stability and security.

His Royal Highness also received a presentation on various programmes aimed at expanding the BDF’s military arsenal as well as other cutting edge systems to further improve combat and military training.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the BDF’s Commander-in-Chief,  Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF’s Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi and a number of senior officers.
