HRH the Crown Prince meets new Minister of Defence Affairs and Chief of Staff

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the newly appointed Minister of Defence Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant General Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma and the newly appointed Chief of Staff, His Excellency Lieutenant General Theyab bin Sager Al-Noaimi at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the vital role played by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) in protecting the Kingdom in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised the BDF’s vigilance and continued force development as it works to maintain Bahrain’s long-term security and stability.  

His Royal Highness offered his congratulations to Lieutenant General Al-Jalahma and Lieutenant General Al-Noaimi on their appointments and extended his best wishes to both Generals as they carry out their new role in support of the Kingdom and its people.

His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF also attended the meeting.
