Crown Prince meets former Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met former Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Manama.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue, held this weekend from 6 to 8 December and covered relations between the two countries and the wider GCC, alongside the key topics of the Dialogue.

His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation of the longstanding strategic relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, and highlighted that the relationship between the two countries is underpinned by collaborative efforts across a range of sectors, including working together to support the GCC towards greater coordination and collaboration. His Royal Highness also welcomed the participation Shaikh Mohammad in the Manama Dialogue and other key events and conferences in the Kingdom, noting his prior contributions and experience.

During the meeting His Royal Highness and Sheikh Mohammed also looked at the key topics on the agenda of the Dialogue, which covered issues pertinent to regional and international security and stability.
