HRH Crown Prince receives Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander held today his weekly Majlis at Riffa Palace where he welcomed a delegation from the Parliament of Kuwait, headed by Mr Ali Fahad AlRashed, speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly.

Guests welcomed by HRH the Crown Prince also included members of the royal family, senior officials, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, municipal councilors, religious, economic, academic and social figures, media persons, and a number of diplomats serving in the Kingdom.

HRH the Crown Prince expressed appreciation of Kuwait’s support, noting the ongoing progress and development of bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.

He emphasised the significance of the visit with regards to boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation with the ultimate goal of establishing more mechanisms for continued national achievements through democratic and legislative means.

Mr Ali Fahad Al Rashed spoke of the importance of Bahraini-Kuwait ties and welcomed the national dialogue that began yesterday in Bahrain. He noted that the dialogue underlines HM King Hamad’s ongoing efforts to further reform based on principles of inclusivity and consensus. He wished the dialogue success in achieving effective results.
