Deputy King Pays Visit to BDF General Command

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy of His Majesty the King and Crown Prince today paid a visit to the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

On arrival, the Deputy King was welcomed by BDF Commander in Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.He also met with several senior officers and expressed thanks and appreciation for their tremendous efforts in serving Bahrain and also becoming a role model in loyalty and efficiency, congratulating them on being promoted by HM the King, which, he asserted, will motivate them to exert more efforts.The fruitful results of HRH Crown Prince’s talks during his recent visit to the USA, in which the two countries reaffirmed the strength of their relations in all fields, especially the political, economic and military ones, were also reviewed.

On their part, BDF senior officials expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH Deputy of HM the King, appreciating the wise leadership’s constant support to all BDF affiliates. Political and Economic Affairs Advisor at HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Head of the HRH Crown Prince’s Court Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and HRH Crown Prince’s Personal Secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa were also present.
