HRH Prince Salman Receives US Congressman
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander today reaffirmed Bahrain’s resolve to continue the reform process initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, putting citizens’ interests and ambitions on top of all priorities. Receiving US Congressman Dan Burton at Riffa Pace, he stressed the crucial importance of national unity, Bahrain’s best asset.
“Our unity and harmony project Bahrain’s radiant image and reflect our firm stance that rejects sectarian discrimination, disunity and all that seeks to erode our established entity”, he said. He reaffirmed firm resolve to preserve hard-won achievements and protect lives, expressing pride in citizens of all walks of life.
He also extended deep thanks and appreciation to the security forces for their efforts to ensure people’s comfort and protect public order and maintain security and stability in a civilized way.
US Representative Dan Burton paid tribute to HM the King for his statesmanship and serious steps to modernize the Kingdom and promote reforms, reiterating his country’s support. He urged the media to promote the quality of its work and project the true picture and accurate information about events on the ground in Bahrain in Bahrain, hailing the role HRH Prince Salman for disseminate the culture of dialogue.
