Crown Prince and US Ambassador discuss regional security

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with the American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Mr. Thomas Krajeski, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding strategic relations between the US and Bahrain which he said are firmly built upon bilateral coordination and cooperation across all levels.

In this regard, His Royal Highness noted Bahrain’s commitment to further developing relations between the two countries.

His Royal Highness and the American Ambassador discussed issues of shared interest along with recent regional developments, noting the importance of coordinating on ways to counter all forms of terrorism and violent extremism to achieve lasting regional security and stability.

In this regard, His Royal Highness highlighted the need for continued support to the international coalition efforts aimed at combating all forms of terrorism active in the region.

In response, Ambassador Krajeski expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, noting his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s continued interest in enhancing ties between the two countries.  

The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
