Bahrain Defence Force signs agreement with Russia’s Rosoboronexport

Bahrain Defence Force today signed an agreement with Russian defence export agency, Rosoboronexport.

The deal will help to enhance Bahrain’s defence capabilities through the provision of an advanced defence system.

The agreement demonstrates Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Russia, with a focus on trade, investment and defence cooperation.

The agreement was signed by Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah and the director of Rosoboronexport, Anatoly Isaikin

This agreement comes as part of the ongoing working visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Supreme Commander to the Russian Federation at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister, Dimitry Medvedev.
