Crown Prince meets Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister met with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh this afternoon.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness delivered a letter from His Majesty King Hamad, King of Bahrain, to His Royal Highness, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, addressed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The letter extended greetings from His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the Prime Minister to the Custodian and wished the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further success and prosperity. His Majesty King Hamad also expressed his gratitude for the continuing support of Saudi Arabia and for the long-standing relations between the leadership and people of both countries.
During the meeting the longstanding strategic ties between the two countries, as well as the close coordination and collaboration across a variety of sectors, were the subject of in-depth discussions. His Royal Highness also particularly highlighted the continuous support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia for Bahraini-Saudi ties.
His Royal Highness went on to express his pleasure in attending the Jenadriyah festival, and noted the support this event receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. His Royal Highness added that the Jenadriyah festival serves to support cultural exchanges between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, welcomed His Royal Highness’ attendance and highlighted the value of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s contributions to cultural events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He went on to extend his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continuing success and prosperity.
Also attending the meeting was a number of their royal highnesses and GCC secretary-general, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and the delegation accompanying His Royal Highness.
