Crown Prince receives new Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received His Excellency Abdullah bin Abdul-Malik Al Al-Sheikh, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, the long standing relations and mutual interests between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain were discussed.
His Royal Highness welcomed Ambassador Abdullah to his new role as Ambassador to Bahrain, and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s continuous support for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the GCC as a whole.
His Royal Highness went on to emphasise the role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
His Royal Highness and the Saudi Ambassador then discussed joint efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reinforce the close coordination among GCC countries.
His Royal Highness went on to add that these efforts support both the will of the people and the leadership of the GCC countries. He also emphasised that strengthening close coordination and collaboration among GCC countries is important to addressing various regional and international challenges and opportunities.
His Royal Highness then wished the Ambassador success in his new role and with his diplomatic mandate to enhance the longstanding relations between the two countries. His Royal Highness further described the longstanding ties between the two countries as built on a shared dedication to supporting mutual interests and shared values.
In response, Ambassador Abdullah expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ interest in supporting Bahrain’s longstanding ties with Saudi Arabia, and also highlighted the close coordination between the two countries across different fields.
