Crown Prince meets Commander of United States Central Command

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met with the Commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM), General Lloyd James Austin III and his accompanying delegation, at Riffa Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness and General Austin reviewed the strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, highlighting the extensive bilateral relations and close coordination between the two allies.

The meeting also offered an opportunity to discuss means to further enhance ties between Bahrain and the United States, and identify how those ties could benefit the two nations’ people.

In discussing the latest developments in both the international and regional arena, His Royal Highness highlighted the role played by the United States in supporting stability and security in the region and encouraging peaceful co-operation worldwide.
