HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Gudaibiya Palace with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh. The meeting also included the Chairman and members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and National Security from both Councils, as well as other members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of strengthening collaboration and joint coordination between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, as well as with the private sector, to advance the goals of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness highlighted the outcomes of the 45th GCC Summit, held in the State of Kuwait, noting its significance in further strengthening joint GCC collaboration to fulfil the shared aspirations of the people of the GCC.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, driven by the contributions of Team Bahrain across various sectors, are a source of pride and inspiration, motivating efforts to build a brighter future for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to create quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens in collaboration with the private sector, contributing to the realisation of shared aspirations.

For their part, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, the Speaker of the Shura Council, including the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Sameer Abdulla Nass, expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’s dedication to strengthening collaboration between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, private sector institutions, in order to achieve Bahrain’s developmental goals.

The Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Sameer Abdulla Nass, and a number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
