HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets the President of the United Arab Emirates

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE and its people.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad’s visit to the UAE, emphasising the strength of Bahrain-UAE relations and the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral ties.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the deep-rooted relations between the two nations, grounded in a solid foundation of understanding and shared stances over the years. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated the mutual efforts to further strengthening the Bahrain-UAE strategic partnership, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of multisectoral collaboration, which is underpinned by a longstanding partnership.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged blessings for the holy month of Ramadan and well wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of their nations, as well as for the wider Arab and Islamic world.

In addition, the two parties discussed the latest regional and international developments and explored ways for further engagement between both countries to foster regional and global peace and stability.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad later attended an iftar banquet hosted by the President of the UAE in honour of His Royal Highness and the accompanying delegation.
