HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister hosts iftar banquet for MOI senior officers
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today hosted an iftar banquet for senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) at the Public Security Officers’ Club.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.
HRH the Crown Prince commended the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing development across its various directorates, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister affirmed the Ministry’s vital role in safeguarding the security and safety of Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
His Royal Highness highlighted that security is the foundation of development and progress, made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Kingdom’s security agencies. His Royal Highness commended the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing its security and policing capabilities while improving services for citizens.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Interior and all MOI personnel for their contributions to strengthening the Kingdom’s security. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the importance of continuously advancing the Ministry’s services and adopting the latest technologies to enhance Bahrain’s security and achieve national aspirations.
For his part, and on behalf of MOI personnel, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ recognition of the efforts of Bahrain’s security forces. His Excellency commended His Royal Highness’ commitment to enhancing the progress and readiness of the Kingdom’s security personnel, as part of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Excellency also emphasised the Interior Ministry’s commitment to carrying out its important role in implementing Bahrain’s ambitious programmes that aim to address various challenges and uphold the Kingdom’s security.
His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials also attended the iftar banquet.
