HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, meets with the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met today with Thomas J. Barrack, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 21st edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the historic and deep-rooted Bahrain–U.S. relationship, which continues to advance across multiple sectors, supported by a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in pursuit of mutual interests.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of further enhancing collaboration between the two countries, particularly within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which serves as a cornerstone for deeper cooperation.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the pivotal role of the United States, alongside its allies, in upholding regional and global security, stability, and development. In this regard, His Royal Highness reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, a vital step that would benefit both the Palestinian people and the wider region.

During the meeting, issues of common interests and the latest regional and global developments were also discussed.

His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
