HM King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister exchange congratulations on BDF 58th anniversary
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, marking the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed his congratulations to His Majesty on behalf of all BDF members. His Royal Highness highlighted the BDF’s embodiment of the highest values of pride, sacrifice, devotion and loyalty, and its vital role in consolidating security and stability, contributing to a prosperous future for generations to come, and promoting regional and international peace and security in partnership with the armed forces of other nations, in line with His Majesty’s comprehensive vision.
His Royal Highness emphasised the commitment to protect the Kingdom’s security, stability, sovereignty and continued progress.
In response, His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in which His Majesty described the BDF as a source of national pride of the Kingdom.
His Majesty congratulated His Royal Highness and all BDF members of the Bahrain Defence Force. HM the King also expressed appreciation for their dedicated efforts to enhance the Force’s capabilities and performance through advanced training and modern armament, ensuring the highest levels of readiness and the effective deployment of advanced systems and technologies to protect the Kingdom and its civilisational achievements.
