HRH the Deputy King receives the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received Her Excellency Stephanie L. Hallett, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding Bahrain–US relationship, underpinned by a strategic partnership spanning a number of important sectors, which played a vital role in combating the hostile Iranian aggression.

His Royal Highness underscored the mutual commitment to bolstering bilateral cooperation, building on the progress achieved through multisectoral collaboration and agreements, particularly the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA), to achieve shared goals and aspirations.

The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest, were also discussed in the meeting. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the prominent role played by the United States, alongside allied countries, in consolidating regional and global security and stability.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
